Chris Williams creates his figures to look as though they’ve just been caught in a moment of stillness. Working in metal, Williams finds a dynamic tension between the stiffness of the material and his own force. It is this tension that Williams aims to capture in the bent and twisted metal to give each of his pieces a pulse.
