Bio

Michelle Consalvo is Director of State Government Affairs for Takeda, a global biopharmaceutical company with US headquarters in Massachusetts.

Prior to Takeda, she worked as the Assistant Vice President for Government & Community Affairs for Boston University. In this capacity, Michelle was responsible for overseeing the University's relationship with state and local leaders and advancing its policy and research agenda before the legislature and government agencies.  She has also served as the New England Executive Director of the trade association, TechNet and as Vice President for Government Affairs at AT&T.

She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Boston College and a law degree from Suffolk University Law School. She lives in Boston with her husband, Drew O’Brien, and twins Natalie and Matthew.
