As MAIA’s President and CEO, Nick Fyntrilakis leads all aspects of the nearly 1,000-member Association including member advocacy and promotion, education, technical affairs, government relations, and the Number One Insurance Agency.

Prior to joining MAIA, Nick was President of the MassMutual Foundation and Vice President of Community Responsibility at MassMutual, where he led the company’s philanthropic, educational, economic development, and community outreach programs. He also supported the company’s government relations efforts in Massachusetts.

Earlier in his career, Nick owned a consulting firm specializing in government relations, public relations, and marketing; served as Chief of Staff to a Massachusetts legislator and was elected to two terms on the Springfield School Committee. He holds a BS from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, and an MBA from Western New England University.
